Placement Cell
Placement cell was formally established in the year 2004. The placement cell organizes campus interview for placement. It also counsel students for further studies. It provides educational vocational and personal guidance to the students. M.Ed. students find placement in teacher education colleges through the Institute. Schools and the private colleges take help and consult the institution from time to time for placements.

Plan of Action (2009-2010)
1. To initiate the steps of making computer catalog in the library.
2. To initiate the steps of installation of office software for better functioning of the college office.
3. To organize a session for non-teaching staff in English communication.
4. To organize a workshop on quality in research.
5. To organize the State / National level on quality improvement.
6.  Efforts  to prepare the research proposal to get financial assistance from ICSSR.
7. To organize faculty development programmes.
8. To review work of all committees and help them where ever needed.
9. To start innovative practices in teaching learning process.
10. To make sure that quality is practiced in each and every department of the college.
 
Grievance Redressal Cell
It is good to air a grievance rather than to keep it bottled up. Protection of human rights is essential for all round development of an individual’s personality. To realise the primary needs of the students and staff and secure civil liberties for everybody, a Grievance Redressal Cell has been constituted. The cell is indented to find solutions for problems like Ragging, Sexual harassment – any kind of physical or mental harassment, Complaints regarding class room teaching – class room management, completion of syllabus, teaching methods etc, if and when they arise. The Grievance Redressal Cell convenes meetings periodically and takes steps to redress the grievance.
The Students Grievance Redressal Committee is constituted by the Principal; who is the Chairman of the committee. The committee consist of three teachers, one is a lady teacher. The committee generally discuss the various basic problems of the students and any unhealthy relationship between the students, students and teachers or students and non-teaching staff of the college and suggest and implement remedial measures.
 
Research Promotion Cell
The main kinds of research in education promoted are: -

2. M.Ed. Dissertation
3. M.Phil Dissertation
4. Ph.D. Thesis
Activities of Research Cell: -
1. The cell motivates the faculty and alumni, besides the present students to undertake research work leading to a doctoral degree.
2. Activities related to faculty development, i.e. RC/OP, Seminar/Conference, etc
3. Help faculty in getting the financial aid from for academic progress.
4. Counseling teachers for research & development work.
5. To guide and help the faculty and students in publication of books, articles etc.
 
Umeed Cell

Under the Chairmanship of Principal

Umeed cell was established in the college in the year 2003. It is working for the empowerment of women.
1. To work on gender segregated data on students and faculty in various departments.
2. To facilitate participation of women faculty in seminars/ conferences/ workshops/ faculty development programmes/representation in various committees.
3.  To conduct survey related to women empowerment.
4.  To make availability of hostel/common room/ toilet/ sports facilities for women.
5.  To make available books and journals on women in the library.
6.  To solve grievances of girl students.
7.  To arrangement of recreation activities for girls
8.  To arrange seminar/lecture on laws related to women rights for girls
9.  To arrange guidance to girls for sports, cultural activities competitive exam
10.  To solve Sexual Harassment related issues.
11.  Legal awareness programmes related to women rights.
12.  Celebration of women day.
13.  Celebration of Lohri of girl child.
